Buffalo 2 Alarm (48 Schrek Ave) 7/30/10

Buffalo Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of a structure fire on Schrek Ave. Engine 23 reported smoke showing from quarters & went on location with heavy fire showing from a 1 1/2 story vacant dwelling & requested the 2nd alarm as a precaution. E23 further reported difficulty gaining access to the boarded up structure and dropped big lines to protect the exposures. B-56 reported extension to the #4 side exposure. The fire was under control in about 26 minutes. Dispatch
