Last evening Bowmansville was dispatched to 2 calls at the same time! 1. MVA with injuries on Transit Rd., North of Genesee St. and 2. Report of a Fire in the dining room at Russels Grand Hotel. Bowmansville 9 requested Hy-View to handle the MVA and all Bowmansville units respond to Russels along with a Pumper and Ladder from Harris Hill. Bowmansville 9 arrived on location to smoke coming from the front of the building with sprinklers activated. Bowmansville 9 assumed command and 9-1 operations. The fire was contained by the sprinkler system and extingused with fire extingushers. Bowmansville overhauled and ventilated. The fire was contained to the corner of the dining room and is currently under investigation by the Lancaster Police Fire Investigation Unit. LVAC stood by at the scene and Millgrove stood by at Bowmansville Station 1. Dispatch
