Akron Firefighters responded last night for a report of an unknown type fire inside a building on Bloomingdale Rd. Akron 9-4 went on location with heavy smoke showing and requested the 2nd alarm to the scene. Akron 9 reported a furnace fire fully involved and heavy smoke conditions in the building. Command requested 1 Twin City Ambulance to the scene for a Firefighter with a knee injury. Mutual Aid companies were Newstead, Clarence, Clarence Center, Swormville, Harris Hill, Millgrove, & Wolcottsville. The fire was under control in about 35 minutes. Dispatch
