Buffalo 2 Alarm Hi-Rise Fire 1250 Bailey Ave 12/23/09

Buffalo Firefighters responded this evening for a report of a structure fire on Bailey Ave. Engine 28 was on location reporting smoke on the 7th floor and B-43 reported smoke showing from the #3 side on the 7th floor. B-56 requested an additional 2 Engines & Ladder to the scene and further requested the balance of the 2nd alarm to the scene along with and 2nd FAST team (Ladder 7). Crews reported 1 victim found and rescued from the 7th floor. The fire was under control in about 44 minutes and damages were estimated at $600,000. Dispatch
