Today marks the 26th Anniversary of the deadliest day in Buffalo Fire Department history. On this fateful night in 1983 at 8:23pm Box 191 was sounded sending a full assignment to North Division St & Grovesnor St. A propane tank exploded & Firefighter Michael Austin, Firefighter Michael Catanzaro, Firefighter Matthew Colpoys, Firefighter James Lickfeld & Firefighter Anthony Waszkielewicz from Ladder 5 answered their last call.
