Rescue Mattress Fire 1078 Walden Ave 12/28/09

For the second time in 4 days Rescue Firefighters responded to investigate smoke in the building on Walden Ave. Police were first on location reporting smoke showing. Rescue Engine 2 went on location reporting a possible bedroom fire. Engine 2 further reported a mattress fire and held with only the units on the road. Mutual aid companies alerted were Pine Hill, Sloan, CD-132, & Forks (FAST). The fire was under control in about 6 minutes. Dispatch
