Buffalo Firefighters responded this morning with a preliminary signal to investigate a possible basement fire on Cable St. Engine 35 went on location with heavy smoke showing from a 1 1/2 story dwelling and requested the balance of the 1st alarm. B-46 reported fire in the basement on the 3-4 corner with heavy smoke conditions throughout. The fire was under control in about 21 minutes. Dispatch
