Buffalo Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon to investigate smoke at Amherst St & Crescent Ave. Ladder 7 went on location investigating and B-47 reported a roof fire & requested the balance of the 1st alarm. The fire was under control in about 13 minutes. The cause listed as careless use of a roofers torch and damages were listed at $15,000. Dispatch
