DEATH NOTICE: Pine Hill Firefighter Frederick Krug Jr.
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pine Hill Lieutenant Frederick Krug Jr.
Lt. Krug, age 39, died suddenly on the evening of December 30, 2009. He leaves behind a two-year old daughter in addition to his father, mother, two sisters and a brother.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday Jan. 5th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 at the Lester H. Wedekindt Funeral home located at 3290 Delaware Ave. in Kenmore NY.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday Jan. 6th at 11:00am at the funeral home. Following services at the funeral home, final commitment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cheektowaga. The procession to the cemetery will proceed past our fire station on Genesee Street.
Any fire departments planning to attend or bring apparatus to the funeral on Wednesday are asked to contact Mike Skowron at 716-465-5590.
