Seneca Hose W/F 20 Benson Ave 1-7-10

Seneca Hose Firefighters responded this morning to a report of a room & contents fire on Benson Ave. Seneca Hose 9-1 went on location reporting fire on the 2nd floor of a 35x75 2 1/2 story dwelling. Command further reported the fire extended into the voids of the dwelling and crews were chasing the fire. Mutual aid companies were Winchester, Vigilant, Union, East Seneca, Reserve, Newton Abbott, & South Line (FAST). Vigilant Engine 1 was involved in a MVA enroute to the call but no injuries were reported. The fire was under control in about 66 minutes. The cause is under investigation by the Erie County Sheriff's & West Seneca Police Investigators. Dispatch
