East Seneca Fatal MVA Transit Rd & Southwestern Blvd 1/16/10

East Seneca Firefighters responded early this morning for a report of a MVA at Transit Rd & Southwestern Blvd. Chiefs were notified enroute that Police were on location with a car vs tractor trailer head on MVA & reporting a victim trapped and requesting Fire to expedite to the scene. East Seneca 9 assumed command and requested Mercy Flight to the scene and ordered Rescue 5 to prepare for extrication. Mercy Flight was cancelled and the female victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where she was pronounced a short time later. The victim was extricated in about 11 minutes. Dispatch
