Buffalo Police Officer Shot During Standoff 2/1/10

Buffalo Police Detective John Garcia was shot today during a standoff with a subject on Trinity Place near South Elmwood Ave. Police reported the officer was part of the Hostage Management Team and was struck in the shoulder and face with buckshot. He was transported with non life threatening injuries & is expected to be okay.
